The New Gift Registry Favorite
The Honeymoon Registry is quickly becoming a very hot item for newly engaged couples who have already maxed out on their material possessions. Instead of registering at Crate & Barrel or Macy’s, many couples are very interested in registering for their honeymoon. It works a little differently than the regular registry.
The benefits of using a quality Honeymoon Registry are many. It’s important to know that the company you work with is a viable entity. Checking with the Better Business Bureau is a very good idea. In addition, it’s important that your registry be set up in a way that’s easy for your guests to use. It will also provide you with up-to-the-minute information about who has gifted you. The registry can stay open after the Wedding & Honeymoon, in case gifts continue to come in after the nuptials have been made!
This Registry service is a separate entity in that your travel agent does not get involved with the financial transactions. However, should a guest purchase a private island excursion, or a 4×4 expedition, you can ask your Travel Agent to add this to your honeymoon package.
Keep in mind that the Honeymoon Registry is not just for those going on a Honeymoon, but it can also be used as a Bridal Registry or Weddingmoon (i.e. when you are eloping), or a registry for a Vow Renewal or Anniversary. Many opt for something like this when their family and friends want to do something special however the couple already has everything!
