Koloa Landing Resort at Poʻipū, Autograph Collection is a luxury villa resort on the sunny south shore of Kauaʻi, set on 25 acres of landscaped tropical grounds. It combines the space and comfort of a private island residence with the service and facilities of a full resort, and is best known for its spectacular pools, among the most celebrated in Hawaiʻi.

The villas here are some of the largest on Kauaʻi, with wide lanais, full kitchens and room to truly unpack and settle in. For honeymooners who want more than a hotel room, and for couples travelling with a wedding party, it is a refined and relaxed base from which to enjoy the island.

Accommodations range from Deluxe Studios of around 500 square feet to one-, two- and three-bedroom Luxury Villas of up to 2,600 square feet, with a four-bedroom Penthouse of 3,600 square feet at the top of the collection. Every studio and villa has a private lanai and island-inspired décor, and the villas add a full gourmet kitchen, generous living and dining areas and floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open the whole space to the trade winds.

All accommodations are air-conditioned, a welcome comfort on the south shore. For a honeymoon, we recommend a one-bedroom Luxury Villa, which gives you a separate living room, a kitchen for lazy breakfasts and a large lanai for sunset drinks, with far more space than a typical resort suite.

The resort’s restaurant is Holoholo Grill, a relaxed open-air venue beside the main pool serving Hawaiian-inspired cuisine at breakfast, lunch and dinner, with dishes such as kālua pork hash, fresh ʻahi sashimi and poke bowls. Food and drinks are also served poolside through the day. Near the lobby, the Gourmet Marketplace is open around the clock for coffee, pastries, smoothies and essentials, and a villa pantry stocking service will have your kitchen filled with fresh ingredients before you arrive.

There is also plenty within walking distance. A dedicated path leads in about five minutes to The Shops at Kukuiʻula, where you will find both fine and casual restaurants, ice cream, sushi and outdoor cafés. Poʻipū Shopping Village is a short walk away, and Old Kōloa Town is less than two miles from the resort.

Koloa Landing Resort at Poʻipū, Autograph Collection has three pools. The 350,000-gallon main pool is one of the largest on Kauaʻi, with an infinity edge, waterslides, swim-through and walk-through waterfalls, hidden grottos, a beach entry, cabanas and several hot tubs. The Lagoon Pool is quieter, with an in-pool island and its own hot tub, and the Tranquility Pool, reserved for guests aged 18 and over, is a peaceful retreat surrounded by waterfalls and greenery.

The resort also has a 24-hour fitness centre, a volleyball court, a putting green and a sports field, along with poolside barbecues and fireplaces. Beyond the resort, the beaches of Poʻipū, snorkelling, surfing, golf and the boutiques and galleries of The Shops at Kukuiʻula are all close at hand, and we can arrange island adventures from Waimea Canyon to a Nāpali Coast sail.

Spa

The Spa at Koloa Landing is a 4,000 square foot day spa beside the Lagoon Pool, offering massages, facials and body treatments, including treatments for couples.
