Nanuku Resort Fiji
- Viti Levu
Nanuku Resort Fiji sits on a two-mile sandy beach at Pacific Harbour, on the south coast of Viti Levu, looking out over Beqa Lagoon. From Nadi International Airport it is just over two hours by private car, or about 30 minutes by charter flight to the resort’s own airstrip. Suva is about 90 minutes away by road.
This is a small, residential-style resort with 37 suites, villas and residences gathered around a central Clubhouse, with a restaurant, spa and fitness center close at hand. It suits couples who want space and privacy with plenty to do nearby. Guests of all ages are welcome, so it also works well for a honeymoon that includes family.
Nanuku Resort Fiji has 37 places to stay: 15 suites and 22 villas and residences. The newly remodeled suites have either ocean views or a beachfront setting. The 13 Nanuku Villas have one or two bedrooms and sit on the beachfront close to the Clubhouse. The Residences range from one to six bedrooms and have the largest private pools at the resort, a good fit for families and wedding parties.
For a honeymoon, we recommend:
• Beachfront Pool Suite – A remodeled suite set on the beachfront, with a private pool.
• Beachfront Spa Suite – A beachfront suite for couples who want to step straight onto the sand.
• One-bedroom Nanuku Villa – A contemporary beachfront villa with more room to spread out and views over Beqa Lagoon.
Kanavata Restaurant and Lounge, in the Clubhouse, serves internationally inspired Pacific Rim cuisine built around fish and seafood from Beqa Lagoon, in an elegant, romantic setting. Nuku Bar sits beside the infinity-edge pool overlooking the bay and serves tropical drinks poolside or on the shaded Sunset Deck.
For a special honeymoon evening, we recommend:
• Treetop Dining – Dinner on a platform among the branches of a 70-year-old dilo tree, with the waves below.
• Cliffside Dining – A table on a cliffside perch above the water, timed for sunset over the Pacific.
• Cinematic Sunset Dining – A sunset dinner with a private chef, followed by a movie on a 12-foot outdoor screen.
The resort also offers Destination Dining at a location of your choice, Private Dining in secluded outdoor nooks, and In-Residence Dining, with a private chef and server in your own villa or residence.
The resort has an infinity-edge pool, a long sandy beach, a fitness center and a wide range of water sports. Guests can snorkel Beqa Lagoon, dive the reefs of Beqa Passage, go deep-sea fishing or take a sunset cruise. The resort’s marine scientist also leads coral planting sessions.
Nanuku has its own private island in the lagoon, which can be booked for a picnic, a day escape or a night under the stars. On land, we can arrange kayaking and tubing on the Navua River, a waterfall hike and a visit to the sand dunes at Kulukulu. Cultural experiences include a kava ceremony, a Meke performance and a traditional Lovo dinner.
Spa
The Spa at Nanuku, also known as Lomana Spa, draws on traditional Fijian massage methods and uses local minerals, botanicals and essential oils. Treatments take place in private suites left open to the breeze, or on an open-air platform set in a 70-year-old dilo tree. Yoga sessions, including sunrise yoga, are also offered.
Weddings
Nanuku Resort Fiji hosts weddings, elopements and proposals, with an on-site wedding specialist to plan the day. Settings include the beach, the Club House Lawn, the Sunset Deck and the resort’s private island. Ask us for current wedding options and availability.
Children
Guests of all ages are welcome and there is no minimum age. The resort has the Lailai Children’s Club, a nanny service for younger children and a buddy program for older children, and children’s menus are available in the restaurant and for in-room dining.
Nanuku Resort Fiji does not charge a resort fee. What your nightly rate includes depends on the rate or offer you book, so we will confirm the details, including breakfast, in your quote.
Airport transfers by private car or charter flight, spa treatments, private dining experiences, diving, fishing and off-site excursions are charged separately.
