InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa

InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa faces the long white sands of Natadola Beach on Viti Levu, Fiji’s main island. It is about 55 minutes by road from Nadi International Airport, by private transfer or shared shuttle, and you can also arrive by helicopter.

The resort’s 266 rooms and suites are spread across 35 acres of beachside tropical gardens, laid out like a traditional Fijian village. With three pools, a spa, several restaurants and a championship golf course next door, it suits couples who want a full-service resort with plenty to do. Club InterContinental, on the hilltop above, is a quieter resort within the resort.

Every room and suite has a daybed and a freestanding Cleopatra bathtub on its balcony or courtyard. Resort rooms measure 63 square meters (678 square feet) and are named for their outlook: Garden View, Pool View, Lagoon View and Beachfront. Lagoon View Suites and Beachfront Suites add a separate living area.

Club InterContinental has one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites and the three-bedroom Natadola Suite. Only the ground-floor Club suites and the Natadola Suite have a private plunge pool. For a honeymoon, we recommend:

•  Club InterContinental One Bedroom Suite – On the hilltop, with a separate lounge and Club Lounge access. Ask us for a ground-floor suite with a plunge pool.

•  Beachfront Suite – Ocean views from every room. Ground-floor suites open directly onto the beach.

•  Beachfront Room – A king room steps from Natadola Beach, with sunset views.

Navo Specialty-Dining is the signature restaurant, overlooking the lagoon, with a degustation menu or à la carte dishes. Sanasana serves the buffet breakfast, an à la carte lunch and themed buffet dinners. Toba Bar & Grill, beside the family pool, is the casual choice for stone-baked pizza, burgers and poké bowls.

Kama Lounge & Bar looks over Natadola Beach and is the spot for sunset cocktails and Fijian entertainment. Lai Lai Café serves coffee and cakes, and In Room Dining is available 24 hours a day.

For a honeymoon evening, we can book a private dinner in one of two beachside cabanas, or Dinner Under the Stars, a seafood-inspired dinner for two served poolside.

There are three pools: the Family Pool, an Adults-Only Pool for guests aged 16 and over, and the Club infinity pool for Club InterContinental guests. The fitness center is open 24 hours.

The Leisure Concierge can plan your days. The resort’s water sports partner runs snorkeling and scuba trips, PADI courses, jet-ski safaris and wakeboarding, and there are Fijian cooking classes on site. Next door, the 18-hole, par 72 Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course has ocean views on 15 of its holes.

Spa

Spa InterContinental uses native herbs and plants grown in its own garden. Each treatment includes access to the Wai Zone, with a steam room, hydrotherapy pool and ice room. Couples can book a massage in a beachside cabana or the private Orchid Room suite.

Weddings

The resort hosts only one wedding a day. Ceremonies take place in the glass-walled Loloma wedding pavilion above Natadola Bay, on the lawn or on the beach at sunset. There are set packages, or the resort’s planners can tailor one. Weddings in Fiji are legally binding, and we can guide you through the paperwork.

Children

Families are welcome. The Planet Trekkers kids’ club takes children aged 4 to 7 and 8 to 12 in separate groups, with a charge per session, and a nanny service is available at hourly rates. The Club Lounge’s sunset cocktails are for adults only.

What is included depends on the rate you book. Some packages add daily buffet breakfast at Sanasana, and we will confirm what your rate covers when we quote.
