Should I cancel my travel plans?
This depends upon many factors such as where you are going, your current health situation, the timing of your trip, etc… For many, traveling in the next month (July 2020) may not be feasible. If this is a concern for you, let’s schedule an appointment to chat (email will get the most expeditious reply).
Will I lose money if I cancel my trip?
This all depends upon the package you have booked. Email us about scheduling an appointment to chat further.
Can I bring hand sanitizer on the plane?
TSA is now allowing passengers to bring liquid hand sanitizer containers up to 12 ounces in carry-on bags until further notice. Passengers can expect that these containers larger than the standard allowance of 3.4 ounces of liquids permitted through a checkpoint will need to be screened separately, which will add some time to their checkpoint screening experience.
See https://www.tsa.gov/coronavirus for more info.
Has my cruise been canceled?
Each cruise line has a slightly different plan. If you are a Remarkable Honeymoons client and your cruise was cancelled we would have been in touch with you already. If a future cruise were to cancel (that is currently operational), we will contact you as soon as we hear of any change.
Are airports and airplanes dangerous?
All of the airlines, as well as the airports have gone over and above to sanitize all surfaces on a regular basis. So they are cleaner than ever before.
We’re young. Should we still worry?
Everyone needs to take precautions such as washing hands and being conscientious about hygiene. See this CDC link about protecting yourself and your family.
Will warm weather help stop the virus?
We have heard that this is being reported in the media, however we are not sure if this is in fact true.
Is it too late to get travel insurance?
Yes and no. Travel insurance does not cover the fear of a virus. There are coverages available after deposit has been paid. Please contact us (again email is going to get the most expeditious reply) to discuss options available to you.
Is there coronavirus where I’m traveling to?
It is safe to assume that the virus will go to just about very location earth, as it is global.
What if I get stuck abroad?
Does my health insurance work overseas?
This depends completely upon your medical insurance provider. We do highly recommend purchasing travel insurance, as it does include emergency medical and medical transport if necessary. Please schedule an appointment with us to discuss.
