Rumours Luxury Villas & Spa Rarotonga – Cook Islands – is Rarotonga’s premium beach front accommodation and multi award winning Spa. Set amongst the palms on the tranquil white sandy beach at the beginning of the famous Muri Beach Lagoon, Rumours is situated over two absolute beachfront locations in the Muri Beach area of Rarotonga with 4 small coral islets within a few hundred meters off the shore. All Rumours villas are far enough away from the larger resorts in the Muri Beach area to allow you to have a very private beach to enjoy.
Your VIP transfer in and out of the airport to/from Rumours will take approximately 15 minutes, and our driver will be happy to answer any questions you may have during the drive to help you become better acquainted with our beautiful island surrounds.
Accommodations
Our five Beachfront Villas are just that, Beachfront. Nothing between you and the tranquil turquoise waters of Muri Lagoon.
All Villas have marble tiles through out with quality fittings and attention to detail. All contain two bedrooms, fully equipped modern kitchens, private rear courtyards with your own private swimming pool and waterfall, air-conditioning, 450 in house movies, tropical gardens and private Jacuzzi’s.
Our two Beachside Villas offer more privacy with gardens and private court yards with private pool. A perfect place to start you adventure or relax and unwind.
Dining
Complimentary breakfasts are delivered each day with a choice of local breads, pastries, cereals, fresh fruit and yogurt as well as self cook options of fresh eggs, streaky bacon, hash browns and tomatoes.
Several great restaurants and bars are a short stroll along the beach with plenty of variety from fine dining to casual fresh fish sandwiches and street food style night markets.
Activities
Rumours offers a full concierge service to help you make the most of your holiday here in paradise. For hikers, there are exhilarating escorted cross-island treks, and also climbs to some of the island’s peaks. Activities on Rarotonga also include snorkeling in the lagoons, scuba diving, kite surfing, paddle boarding, mountain bike riding, game fishing, quad and buggy tours, beach fitness and, at certain times of the year, whale watching. Nightlife and dining is abundant and varied; there are many restaurants, cafés and bars around the island in the township and villages, in the hotels and resorts, and in other easy to access locations. Island Shows are on just about every night of the week..
