Nukutepipi Private Island

Nukutepipi is an idyllic and unspoiled private island in the middle of the Pacific, one of the smallest atolls of French Polynesia’s Tuamotu Archipelago. White-sand beaches, primary forest and a natural bird sanctuary surround a lagoon that few people will ever see.

It is a destination as true and authentic as you will ever find, and a retreat as exclusive as it can get. The island is offered only as a full private buyout for one group of up to 50 guests, so you can have it all to yourselves. It is a remarkable setting for a destination wedding or a celebration with family and friends.

Set among the tropical vegetation and directly on the beach, the island’s accommodations are reserved entirely for your group:

•  Master villa – A master bedroom with a super-king bed and an outdoor bathtub, a second bedroom and two attached one-bedroom bungalows, with a private infinity pool, a Jacuzzi, an indoor lounge, a kitchen and bar, and a cinema room.

•  2 Junior villas – Two en-suite bedrooms each, with separate terraces, a shared lounge and a private infinity pool.

•  13 bungalows – One-bedroom beach bungalows with a king bed or two queen beds, a private terrace and air conditioning.

Every bungalow and villa comes with its own bicycles for getting around the island.

Because the island is yours alone, dining on Nukutepipi is shaped around your group. Meals can be as simple as a barefoot lunch on the beach or as grand as a celebration dinner for everyone, and culinary experiences are planned with you as part of your stay.

Nukutepipi’s lagoon is a treasure trove for water lovers. You can snorkel, tour the coral gardens, scuba dive, paddle a Polynesian canoe, kayak, paddleboard, windsurf, sail, wakeboard or try deep-sea and reef fishing. From July to November, the island is also a dream destination for watching humpback whales.

On land there are tennis, pickleball, badminton, basketball and beach volleyball courts, along with yoga, archery, mini golf, bird watching and an outdoor cinema. Polynesian weaving and pareo dyeing offer a gentle introduction to local culture, and the island’s full spa is there when you are ready to unwind.
