Qamea Resort and Spa

The jewel of Fiji’s northern islands, Qamea is a breathtakingly beautiful island of dramatic tropical-rainforest-clad hills and white sand beaches. Qamea Resort and Spa is an intimate boutique resort catering to a maximum of 34 adults with only 17 luxuriously appointed, air-conditioned, beachfront bures and villas nestled among swaying coconut palms and lush tropical gardens. All accommodations are beachfront with sweeping views of the ocean and sunsets. Qamea also has an all-new, award-winning, full-service spa. A spa menu is available upon request.

Accommodations

Qamea Resort and Spa offers 11 Beachfront Bures along their lovely lagoon, two more private Honeymoon Bures, the Honeymoon Villa which is set back a bit from the beach, and three Royal Beach Houses (one of which is two-bedroom). All are private, spacious, and with very upscale décor.

What’s Included

All meals are included at Qamea Resort and Spa. Select Beverages are included including select beers, wines and softdrinks (by the glass at the bar), and cocktails and premium wines or foreign beer is available for an additional cost. There are also various options in addition to the lovely dining room, such as dinner on the beach or in your bure, your private villa, or a picnic luncheon with champagne on a private beach.

Weddings

Qamea Resort and Spa offers three wedding packages. They range from simple to more elaborate in Fijian style; the staff is also willing to take special requests. The number of weddings is limited in any given week so that each one is very personal and special.

Activities

Most non-motorized activities at Qamea Resort and Spa are available at no extra charge. The snorkeling and diving in the area is some of the best in the world. Qamea’s dive shop offers some of the best expertise and (as of this writing) Qamea is the only resort offering a nitrous-dive option for those more experienced divers. Private deep-sea-fishing charters and hand-line fishing are available; a guide can be arranged if necessary. There are many other activities available for a nominal fee.

Children

Children under the age of 16 years of age are not permitted at the resort, unless the entire resort is booked by a private party.

Recommended Price Range

Depending upon the time of year, Qamea Resort and Spa packages can be as low as $3300 per person from Los Angeles including airfare, seven nights’ accommodation, all meals, select beverages, all resort activities, airport/resort transfers, and all associated taxes.  Ask about Qamea’s latest special for travel through March 31, 2013

I’m not even sure where to begin, we literally had the Honeymoon of a lifetime!
Huge thanks to, Piper, our travel agent…who was literally with us every step of the way. From the moment we inquired about Fiji, to delayed flights, even a “Welcome Home” message. You have no idea how much your Get Ready Packet helped us out! We used that pen more than once when we were in a jam, one of our luggage tags broke so the ones you provided for us were a life-saver! Along with your personal insight to traveling (our legs thank-you for the tip about bugspray!) Your response to EVERY email was lightning-fast and jam-packed with any info you could come up with. Not to mention our afternoon on Honeymoon Beach that we enjoyed thanks to your generosity
& your feedback on Qamea was spot-on..it was paradise! The grounds alone are enough to fill pages describing its beauty…but then there’s their staff. Who from the moment we arrived to the second we left, waited on us hand-and-foot. But not only was their service superior, we also considered them friends by the time we left. Nothing we’ve ever experienced at any other Resort…Qamea has the feel of a close friend/family member opening their home and making you feel like you live there. We both agree that Fiji alone is one of the most gorgeous places we’ve ever visited; BUT that the staff multiplied our honeymoon bliss by a million!
We loved hanging out before/after dinner getting to know the other guests and having the freedom to be alone, enjoying paradise as newlyweds…or the option to mingle with other couples and experience Fiji up-close and personal.
It was the trip of a lifetime and absolutely a place we would love to re-visit…& hopefully stay even longer
