Hi Piper-

Hopefully you got our card of thanks! The trip was great, couldn't have asked for better. We went to the Luau at the Moana Kea and it was a lot of fun. We ate at Batik's-I thought it was a little overrated but it had a very nice ambience. The one thing we did that I didn't really enjoy was the sushi/steakhouse at our hotel. We did their buffet and there was hardly any sushi (which I was most intersted in). Keith loved it, but he will eat anything!

The service was great at the hotel (but as I thought they had us down for two double beds instead of a king-after about 25 minutes they were able to get us a room with a king given our size), the beach was gorgeous, we saw whales everyday from our hotel!!

We went snorkeling with Dolphin Discoveries and they were very knowledgable abou the history of the island then snorkeling was excellent. Keith also talked me into taking a helicopter ride (Sunshine) over the waterfalls you can't get to by foot. It was awesome, but I'm glad we went on the shortest ride (cramped quarters for big people!)

Our romantic dinner was wonderful (thanks again for the sparkling cider), more than I thought it would be. Keith was totally surprised and pleased with the food. I was able to get a beautiful gardenia for my hair from the on-site florist which was a bonus.
